Apparent hit-and-run at Belvedere Cemetery in San Angelo takes out seven small trees - Standard-Times
Mar 6, 2019
No grave markers were damaged, but about seven small trees on the perimeter of the cemetery were obliterated in the crash, said Officer C. Schneider, of the San Angelo Police Department. A piece of the vehicle was left behind. What appeared to be an orange section of a taillight or headlight could be seen among the broken tree branches. "I'm surprised it didn't cause more damage to the car that hit it," Schneider said. Schneider did not have an exact time the incident occurred, but believes it will be investigated as a hit-and-run. Belvedere Cemetery is at 3504 Arden Road. No further information has been released.
